Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! What books did Santa stuff your stocking with this holiday season? Do a holiday book haul for us! If you don’t celebrate just show off your books that you got this week. Pictures!!!
Originally I did not get Dark Triumph. Santa stuffed my stocking with Book Thief, which I had already read. Originally I planned to keep Book Thief since it's such a good book but my mother said "What's the point of getting a book you've already read?" So I went to the bookstore and we did an exchange. I actually think I'm going to be able to carve out some time to read books for fun this month so I'm pretty excited to have this beautiful pile waiting for me.

I love the pic! It's super pretty! (my house is darker than a dungeon, hence no photo) :D It sounds like your Mom and my Dad have the same idea about book ownership! LOL Old follower.

I got a signed copy of the Diviners when I met Libba Bray at a book signing. She is great! Etiquette and Espionage is on my to read list. Hope it's good!

Nice haul! I'm dying to get my hands on Diviners/More Than This! I already have Grave Mercy, cannot wait to jump on in!
Ooh nice! Well, if the book cover was different and you really liked the new one, then it's okay to buy a double! I did that once...or twice...maybe thrice? ;)

It's so nice to get things on my TBR list for a change. They've all languished on mine for a long time. I'm excited about Diviner's, I always enjoy Libba Bray.
I thought Book Thief might be nice to have for loaning purposes, but alas having a book I haven't read is also good.
I don't own Book Thief at all. I originally read it as a library book so having a copy didn't seem like a bad idea. But my mom works really hard at Christmas so if she's happier with me getting a book I haven't read, then I'll do that. I was pleased Books A Million actually had a couple of books I wanted.
The first in the Grave Mercy series was really fun! Lots of people like the 2nd even better so I'm really excited.
I hope so too! I loved the Soulless series so it seems likely.
You should! It's a really good and original book.
Thanks! That's my bedroom at my parents house. My apartment is quite dark too, which makes pictures hard. Some people just don't re-read so I understand the not-keeping books.
Exciting haul! Happy Holidays and happy reading!

I still need to read "The Diviners." I don't know what my excuse is... I've been wanting to read it for eons now. I think it's just that it's so big! I always want to start it right before my required reading for my Book Club & worry that if I do so, I won't be able to finish in time to get the Club book done. Ah, reader's problems. ;)
Enjoy your pile!
