What book (or TV show or movie) have you not read that seemingly everyone else has?
Divergent. I saw some meh reviews from some trusted friends on Goodreads and kept putting it off. Then with later books came out there was SUCH a huge hype machine that I just go too annoyed to even go back and read it. It's languishing on my to be read shelf on Goodreads but I don't know if it'll ever happen.

Oh bummer. That was one I decided to give a try myself since soooo many people were talking about it. I don't usually read the popular books unless I think it's appealing to me. Divergent was one that got me a little interested and ending up liking it a LOT!
The first movie is about to come out in March next year. Which is kind of what prompted me to get on the ball and read the second book so I can read the third book before the actors' images take over my subconscious when reading. It was a little tricky trying to read Insurgent since the cast has been listed for the most part! Hopefully I can get Allegiant in before the constant previews start!

Hopping through. I put of Divergent too because of all the hype and because I don't like dystopia. But I ended up loving it.

SAme here Divergent. I need to get to those just to see what all the hype is about. I just have other stuff I want to read first...
Its really good.I don't even like dystopians all that much, but I LOVED Divergent. I think you should give it a try. At least watch the movie and see if you think the hype is deserved.
