Follow Friday - If I had to start blog again

Follow Friday is a feature created by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.  It's a fun blog hop where you meet other book bloggers and find people to follow.
Question: What would you do over if you were to start your blog again from scratch?
Actually I've thought about this before.  When I started blogging it just kind of happened.  I didn't have any sort of game plan until probably a year or two after I was already blogging.  In hindsight, I really should've started with an organized plan, posting schedule and all those things.  Then again, if I'd realized there was so much work to blogging I may have never started at all.

Another thing I would change is I probably would've teamed up with another blogger rather than striking it out on my own.  But back then I didn't even really understand the concept of co-bloggers and I've gotten used to doing everything (and consequently always being behind).

I know it's not much, but I really like my blog and what I've built.  There are things I would do differently and things that I'll probably add in the future, but blogging is a constant learning process and you're never actually "done".

I had a problem with scheduling at the start.

I'm still getting used to having a co-blogger. We are trying to work out everything and learn along the way. New Follower.

New follower!! Thank you for stopping by my blog. I understand your last paragraph well. Mine may not be big, but I'm very protective and fond of it!

I started my blog recently and knew it would be some work, but didn't think it would be as much as it is. I've been thinking all this week on getting a schedule set up. I'm a new follower via GFC. You can find my FF at http://madhatterreads.blogspot.com/2012/08/feature-and-follow-3.html

It is so much more work than I ever thought, but I love it so much ~ I too wish I would have been a bit more organized at the start!

Nice blog. I think my blog just kind of happened too. :)

I really had no clue what to do, but found other helpful bloggers, and it happened!!

Now I wouldn't know what to do without my blog. It is so nice meeting others and finding new books to read. And so much fun.

A co-blogger! Yes I would have done that too, things seem easier to manage with a partner but now everyone I would like to partner with have their own blog already and the ones who don't are too busy with their own lives.

I didn't start out nearly as organized either! Which is surprising since I am a totally organized person! It wasn't until last year that I started keeping a planner to keep myself on track with posts and whatnot!

Here's my Friday Hops

Have a GREAT weekend!

I don't think anyone realised how much work it was going to be to keep up and blog as often as you'd like!
Thanks for stopping by my blog - new follower here!

I tried having a schedule, but it didn't really work out for me. It was too much pressure...I think I'm more like a spontaneous poster than a planner.

Thanks for stopping by, Cassi!

Great answer. Blogging with someone would be nice, but like you I had started my blog on my own and I've been learning as I go.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm an old follower.

I've recently picked up a co-blogger and I must say it was worth it. Just feel that little more confident, we still have a few of the meme's to time correctly but its all worth it :D
Thanks for stopping by, Lauren from Northern Plunder

I've been doing this for 2 years now and I've never had a schedule. I just Review a book when I've finished and post other things when I feel like it. I do have a calender of sorts for Guest Posts so they don't clash. But nothing more.
Works for me though, but I probably should have started with more of a schedule/plan. Great answer. :D

I don't really schedule that much, other than reviews that I have to schedule because I have to wait to post them closer to the book's release date. But otherwise, it might be a good idea to schedule. I don't know if I could give up control for sharing. I think it would definitely be helpful though! Great post, thanks for stopping by mine. I'm following you now!

There is definitely always improving to be done with blogging! I get behind entirely too much lately, but I guess that's life. :)

Thanks for visiting and following! Following you, too. Sorry I took forever to get back to you - behind! haha!
